On June 11th the Federation along with the International Labour Organization Decent Work Team and Office for the Caribbean hosted a Six-Step Business Continuity Plan Workshop facilitated by Mr. Robert Teelucksing.

The partnership aimed to help ABEF’s members with the following:

1. Conduct risk assessments to establish the level of risk/vulnerability to their enterprises.

2. Develop and implement a COVID-19 BCP based on six simple steps.

3. Develop and implement measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace to enable workers to return safely while keeping the risk of contamination low.

4. How to protect workers’ mental well-being.

This video captures a snapshot of the Business Continuity Planning exercise.

We thank Ms. Vanessa Phala and Ms. Angela Colley of the International Labour Organization Decent Work Team and Office for the Caribbean for arranging this virtual workshop.

For members of the Federation who require assistance in completing the BCP exercise please email us at aempfed@candw.ag or call 268-462-0247.
