Ms. Alison V. Charlesis the Junior Labour Relations Officer at the Antigua & Barbuda Employer’ Federation. Ms. Charles has been with the Federation for sixteen (16) years and counting, fifteen (15) of which she performed clerical and administrative duties. Ms. Charles has participated in labour-related training locally, regionally, and internationally which has paved the way for her new role within the organization. She currently holds an ASC Degree in Banking and Finance and is furthering her studies within the field to obtain her bachelor’s degree. She believes that the key to her success is continued education. Thus, she is working on her SHRM-CP Certification. She is very enthusiastic about her role in the Federation and the journey ahead. During her leisure, she devotes her time to the community. Hence, she is an active member of her church. She is also a volunteer and is a member of the Optimist Club of St. John’s, an affiliate of Optimist International with the motto “Friends of Youth”.
